Why now

Four accounts you track argued about seed-round timelines in the last 18 hours. You have not posted on it.

Nobody is saying seed rounds got smaller. They are saying they got slower. Six weeks of “we love it, let’s keep talking” is not a correction — it is a decision no one wants to sign.

Everything it claims, traced back to a post

Three steps, and the third one is the point: nothing is drafted from memory. If JustPost cannot show you where a claim came from, it does not make the claim.

Read what you already follow

JustPost pulls new posts from the accounts on your watchlist through the official X API — incrementally, deduplicated, and inside a request budget you set. No X credentials yet? Import a JSON export instead; it takes the same path.

Turn posts into observations

Extractors pull funding, pricing, revenue and recommendation signals out of what was read. Each one is stored as a structured observation carrying the post it came from and how confident the extraction is.

Draft with the evidence attached

Drafts are written from those observations, not from the model's recollection, then checked by a validator that rejects unsupported claims. You see the draft and its sources together.

Every angle of what you follow, in one workspace

Read the ecosystem, keep what matters, and write from it. The same store backs the dashboard and the command line — they are one product, not two.

Morning briefing

What changed since yesterday, ranked by what is worth reading first, with the patterns that show up across several accounts at once. The thing you open before you write anything.

Founder dossiers

Everything stored about one account, in one place: their observations, when each was seen, and the post behind each one.

Search across everything

One query over posts, observations and entities — so a half-remembered claim from three weeks ago is findable, with its source.

Writing angles

Ask for a specific angle and get the fact, the interpretation, the angle and the evidence separated out, so you can tell which part is yours.

Approve, then publish

Edit, approve, schedule, publish. Publishing runs through one module and one database-enforced key, so the same draft cannot go out twice.

Why this is not another scheduler

A scheduler stores what you already decided to say. The hard part was deciding. That is the part JustPost does, and it shows its work.

A scheduler holds text you already wrote. JustPost writes from observations it extracted from posts you follow, and shows you which ones. If the validator cannot support a claim, the draft is held for you rather than sent.

Questions

Everything you'd ask before starting.

Honest answers — no invented claims, no fine print.

What is JustPost?

A reading tool that happens to write. It follows the founders and investors you choose on X, extracts what they said into structured observations, and drafts posts from those observations — with the sources attached, so you can check the reasoning rather than trust it.

Do I need X API credentials to start?

Only for live fetching. Without them you can import a JSON export of posts, and everything downstream — extraction, briefings, drafting — works identically. It is a supported path, not a degraded one, so you can try the whole product before deciding whether to connect anything.

Will it post to X on its own?

Not unless you tell it to, and then only on your own account. Automation rules exist, they are created switched off, and you enable each one deliberately. Even switched on, a draft the validator flagged for unsupported claims is left for you rather than sent.

Where does my data live?

In JustPost's own database, kept separate per account: every read is filtered to your account, and the posts we analyse are public posts from the creators you chose. Deleting your account deletes your data with it. If you run JustPost yourself instead, it is a database you control.

What gets sent to a model provider?

Only the context needed to draft, and only when you ask for a draft. Reading, extraction and briefings involve no model at all. Choosing the local Ollama provider keeps drafting on your machine too, at some cost in quality.

What happens to my X token?

It is encrypted at rest, and you can revoke it from X's own settings at any time without touching JustPost. If no encryption key is configured the app refuses to store the token rather than writing it in plaintext — so a missing key means publishing is unavailable, never that your token is sitting there readable.
